To hunt a monster you need 1 damage at least.

Lightning Damage

Enhancement Damage
Enhance gear will add extra damage to that item, any part of gears is able to enhance.
Magic Damage

Collect five elements will add extra magic damage.
Highest Element Damage
The highest single element damage is your final damage, you can't stack them up until you get five elements together.
Weapon Type Damage
Different weapons have special effects on different monsters.
Strength Damage
Each 100 STRs will increase your 20% Physics Damage & Enhancement Damage.
Extra Physics Damage
+ %Damage will affect physics damage.
Extra Magic Damage
+ %Damage will affect magic damage.
Extra Total Damage
+ %Damage will affect all damage.
